Scripture and a Snapshot - A Cheerful Giver

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap genersouly. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

~II Corinthians 9:6-8~

  1. We just discussed that chapter in Bible study last Wednesday! We’ve been given so much— may we be generous in giving to others.

  2. I have been thinking a lot on giving this week. Specifically, how we can give kindness and grace to those who need it. There seem to be so many who need those things lately.

  3. That's a great scripture. It can be challenging to remember that everything we give is really God's and was given to us by Him. Visiting from the Sweet Tea & Friends linkup.

  4. That's such an important principle from Scripture! Thanks for being here every week!
