Twenty-Six Lists - Sweet Treats

This post may contain affiliate links - using affiliate links from A Fresh Cup of Coffee helps continue the coffee breaks and conversation.

Welcome to Twenty-Six Lists! I hope you'll join me in this simple link-up, where I share a writing prompt for some kind of list, and invite you to share what's on your list. Your list can be very simple or include lots of explanation; short or long; a bullet point list or essay style. Interpret the list prompts however you like, depending on how much time you have to spend, and how much background you'd like to share.

Did you enjoy some favorite sweet treats this past weekend? Lots of people look forward to chocolate eggs and bunnies, or jelly beans, or even Peeps to indulge a sweet tooth during the Easter season, and our list this week is about those sweets that we like, so I hope you got to enjoy some favorites. And can share with us what some of your favorites sweets and treats are!

Here are some of the sweets that are extra special treats for me:

Favorite Candies and Sweet Treats:

  • I prefer dark chocolate over milk choolate, so much that often I'm not really tempted by milk chocolate. There are obviously exceptions (that I'll list) but in general, I just want dark chocolate. My particular favorites are Lindt Lindor dark chocolate truffles, Ghirardelli dark chocolate, and those chocolate oranges that are popular around Christmas.
  • The milk chocolates that I can't turn down are Reese's peanut butter cups, Cadbury Creme Eggs,  and Buckeyes. And . . .
  • Coffee Crisp! My all time favorite candy bar!
  • Other than chocolate, I like Twizzlers, gummie bears, and sour gummies (but not too many!). Although I always try to have mints in my purse, and sometimes find it quite necessary to have cough drops, I don't usually go for hard candy. Lemon drops or a fruity Life Saver would be my choice if I have a ticklish throat and want to keep from coughing.

What sweets are on your list of favorites? Please share.

The link-up is open for two weeks, with a new prompt every other Tuesday.

    1. Fortunately for me, my husband prefers milk chocolate so we don't fight over the sweets! Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I didn't used to like dark chocolate, but, unfortunately, it has grown on me! I love Reeses Peanut Butter Eggs! They are so much better than the regular cups!

    1. Isn't it funny that the shape somehow does affect how they taste? It doesn't make sense, and yet lots of people have a preference for an egg over a cup or the other way around. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
