I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the LORD. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.

  1. This is my hope and prayer for loved ones who don't know the Lord.

  2. Being a parent of grown-up children has allowed me to understand God's side of this scripture even more. His is a bigger, better love - but, oh, how He wants us to remember His love for us, to know Him. His love is not a passive love, a laissez faire love (no easy come, easy go). What a magnificent God we have!

    1. I agree - all through the parenting journey I've learned more about God's love, but there are still more lessons to learn as the parent of adult children. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

  3. Love this! HE will give us a heart to know Him. He is behind my desire to know Him more.
