Welcome to another installment of my challenge and reminder to myself to take photos somewhat regularly. I'm not a photographer, but I enjoy taking everyday photos of things I find interesting or want to remember later, and I find that I notice interesting things when I'm intentionally watching for them. Having some prompts that are open to interpretation has helped me pay a little more attention to what's around me. Every two weeks I have a few words and phrases that I'm focusing on, and I try to find opportunities to take pictures of these things each week. These were the prompts I assigned myself for the past couple weeks:

yard (quarterly) - I guess this is kind of my yard. It's a little worse for wear in this photo.
rest - Merida kept me company while I was resting after another dental surgery.
white - it's very similar to my 'yard' photo, but what a difference a layer of snow makes!
kitchen
community - it's kind of too bad that we don't visit with all the neighbors at our mailboxes. With this many people picking up mail from this spot, you'd think we'd run into each other more often, but it doesn't seem to work out that way.
sign - the placement of this sign at work amuses me. I always wonder if it's on this table on purpose, or if it just got left here at some point and just stayed forever.

I find it strange that with so many mailboxes in that spot that our paths don't seem to cross. How are we all collecting our mail at different times of the day? Or maybe I'm just the odd one out. LOL Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
