Everyday Images #2

This post may contain affiliate links - using affiliate links from A Fresh Cup of Coffee helps continue the coffee breaks and conversation.

Happy Valentine's Day! And welcome to my attempt to challenge myself to take photos somewhat regularly. After all, with digital photos, you can take as many as you like and experiment a bit without wasting film and money. Finding photos that fit these little prompts is sometimes more difficult than one might think. These were the prompts I assigned myself for the past couple weeks:

same spot (monthly) - Welcome to my dining room. This is the spot I'll photograph monthly. Right now there's nothing hanging on the wall yet, so it looks kind of bare, but I decided we did need placemats. I've got Valentine's flowers on the table, along with the book I was reading earlier that day, and a couple of packages of bread waiting on the table as I was preparing SuperBowl food.

I replaced the quilted piece with this more obviously Valentines doily yesterday.

spot in town (quarterly) - This is the little boulevard park in front of the local library and will be the spot I photograph every couple of months to watch the changes.

everyday - I don't take photos of the sky every single day, but I'm making it a habit to do it a few times every week. The photos don't do the color these sunset clouds justice, honestly.

Coffee is an everyday thing, for sure!

hot and/or cold - I've got a Starbucks cup for either!

chair - our big comfy leather armchair. The leather is getting rather scarred and needs a good conditioning.

pink - I have very little pink stuff in my house, and maybe only one sweater in my closet that's pink! But my current flowers are pink so that would have to do.

And a few bonus photos:

No filter! The setting sun was really that golden!

Granddaughter #1 showing off her photo collage before she took it to school - she was the Scholar of the Week. Or some similar title, I can't remember it exactly now! But she was really excited about the honor!

And here's Granddaughter #2 at six months old! I could look at this beautiful photo her momma took all day long.

I am sharing my photos every other Tuesday, along with my prompts for the next two weeks. You can use all or some of the prompts for your own photo posts, or none of the prompts and just link up a post featuring your photos. Simple rules: Your posts must be family-friendly; the photos must be your own; and the post must be mostly photos. If you do share I'd appreciate a mention and link to A Fresh Cup of Coffee on your post.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

Although I didn't use the prompt for the day, this post is part of the Write 28 Days Blogging Challenge hosted by Anita Ojeda because I did indeed "Write Something Somewhere". Find all my posts for the 2023 challenge here: Write Something Somewhere
