At the beginning of each month I've been participating in the "Currently" link-up hosted at Overflowing With Thankfulness. Our hostess Jennifer posts a set of action verb prompts for the month and writers respond. So, without further ado, here are this month's prompts and what's happening currently . . .

Loving - Things I'm loving right now include:
Sunsets and night skies. I only wish I had photos. When I do grab a picture, I always think it's so 'blah' compared to the real thing, or there's all the city things in the way.
I got this Valentine's table runner at Hobby Lobby for a couple bucks and finally put it on the table yesterday. I'm already loving it, though it's still a bit wrinkled!
Loving my current favorite coffees and a current favorite snack food:
Watching how quickly President Trump and his team are getting stuff done! I try not to do politics on the blog, but I've got to say I'm happy and hopeful about the direction things are going. Getting rid of corruption and fraud, downsizing government, and returning to common sense and decency are some of the things I was hoping to see with the new administration.
Anticipating - Some family visits coming up soon. Landon and Meaghan will be coming to visit us in about three weeks, and we're going to the Stadium Series hockey game. That game is something else I'm anticipating and very excited about! Then at the beginning of April I'm going to visit my family in Manitoba. We just started throwing around ideas for a family vacation home get-together, so that's very early in the planning stages, but it's also something I'm anticipating.
Remembering - why I wanted to keep my desk and files organized over the past year. It would make the task of collecting all the stuff I need for taxes a whole lot easier. Unfortunately, I didn't stay organized, and now I'll have to clean the whole desk up before I can get our taxes done.
Sharing - some of my writing with our church's 55+ group newsletter, starting this month. I edited my article WQ - Valentine's Day from last year to a suitable length.
Wish-listing - I can't think of anything specific that I'm adding to a wishlist at the moment, but thinking outside the box a bit, I can say I'm wish-listing a house. We've started talking about buying a house, or possibly just moving to a different apartment, and the wishful thinking is that we could do that when our current lease runs out here. My wishlist for my next living space includes: a larger and more functional kitchen, a garage or basement with storage space, enough room to host the whole family when they visit, and a walk-out deck or patio with at least enough yard for a firepit and to enjoy watching birds at my feeders.

Quotable (I've enjoyed hunting up little quotes to sprinkle into my posts, and I host a regular Wednesday Quotes link party based on interesting quotes, but I've still got such a collection that I have to keep sharing them!):
It is not enough for us to discover belatedly that we have been lied to. It is far more important that we remember who the liars are and not be so gullible next time. ~Thomas Sowell
Romance is thinking about your significant other, when you are supposed to be thinking about something else. ~Nicholas Sparks
Each new breath and moment is a gift. We can choose to start with a clean slate in the here and now. ~Kaleb Kilton
Consider this your invitation to stop by the current link-up and join us: WQ - Love Inspires. The link-up is open for two weeks, and the next one will open on February 19th, with the theme "Staying Balanced"
