Welcome to another installment of my challenge and reminder to myself to take photos somewhat regularly. I went through past photo challenges and came up with a list of prompts at the beginning of the year and am trying to find opportunities to take pictures of these things each week. These were the prompts I assigned myself for the past couple weeks:
May/June Prompts - Everyday Images #10

window view (quarterly)
bridge
rest
together
same spot (monthly)
plant (quarterly)

window view (quarterly) - Not a super photo, and usually there are birds at the feeders, but at least it isn't completely bleak. Looks like it's time to refill the suet feeder!
bridge - at Rockbridge State Nature Preserve
rest - This duck looked like she had found a peaceful spot to take a break.
together - We spent Memorial Day together with family, doing some hiking.
same spot (monthly) - From the opposite side this time.
plant (quarterly) - Still no flowers, but I've kept it alive!
And a few bonus photos:
We were looking forward to ducklings just outside our window, but sadly, a crow got the eggs.
A few more photos from our hiking trip on Monday. We visited Hocking Hills State Park and Rockbridge State Nature Preserve. More photos at: Hiking In the Hills PhotoJournal
We walked by the creek near our place on Sunday night and our granddaughter was determined to catch a fish.

I am sharing my photos every other Tuesday, along with my prompts for the next two weeks. You can use all or some of the prompts for your own photo posts, or none of the prompts and just link up a post featuring your photos. Simple rules: Your posts must be family-friendly; the photos must be your own; and the post must be mostly photos. If you do share I'd appreciate a mention and link to A Fresh Cup of Coffee on your post.
