Everyday Images #100

Can you believe this is my one hundredth Everyday Images link-up post?! Woo hoo!!! I wish I'd thought of a fun giveaway or something, but no such luck. Thanks for visiting and for being a part of this though - I really appreciate everyone who has played along!

Welcome to my ongoing challenge and reminder to myself to take photos somewhat regularly. I'm not a photographer, but I enjoy taking everyday photos of things I find interesting or want to remember later, and I'm more likely to notice interesting things when I'm intentionally watching for them. Having some prompts that are open to interpretation has helped me pay a little more attention to what's around me. Here's how it works: Every two weeks I have a few words and phrases to focus on, and I try to find opportunities to take pictures of these things each week. The link-up post will be here every other Thursday, sharing my photos and offering a link-up for participants to share theirs. Right below the link-up is where you'll find the next set of prompts.

perspective - let's start with something silly! When I find light tunnels like this one at Franklin Park Conservatory's Pumpkins Aglow, I like to take a selfie from this perspective. This time it was my hubby and sister playing the game with me.

workspace - I didn't do a great job with this photo, because I took it to show my family that I'm clearly visible in the chorus shot. Anyway, this banner designated the meeting room at the convention center that was our chorus "workspace" for rehearsals.

hygge - this was the best I could do for "hygge", me under a cozy blanket on my recliner as I recovered from surgery

thankful Thursday - I was very thankful for a Thursday to spend hanging out with my sister. Our faces are not dirty, those are just the shadows! LOL

in my hand - a fifth place medal

out for a walk (quarterly) - end of October, and they were wading in the creek trying to catch crawfish

watch - I had to reach a bit here, and couldn't think of anything else. We did stop to watch the "shadow" in the moon change from wolf to witch to bats and more.

And a few bonus photos:

As mentioned, we visited the Pumpkins Aglow exhibit at Franklin Park Conservatory.

It took awhile but the maple tree in front of our house finally got some brilliant color.

A late October Ohio sunset:

We took the birthday girl out for dinner, and she likes Panda Express.

On the first night of Sing United Convention, I had dinner with friends at Stories on High.

Semi-finals day:

Finals day:

Home on Sunday . . . and off to ER later in the day . . . and had my gallbladder removed on Monday.

Glad to be home and recovering!

I am sharing my photos every other Thursday, along with my prompts for the next two weeks. You can use all or some of the prompts for your own photo posts, or none of the prompts and just link up a post featuring your photos. Simple rules: Your posts must be family-friendly; the photos must be your own; and the post must be mostly photos. If you do share I'd appreciate a mention and link to A Fresh Cup of Coffee on your post.

The Everyday Images link-up is posted every other Thursday, and is open for two weeks.
