Time to share my first batch of photos in response to my own photo prompts. In a way I feel like I'm cheating a little since I chose the prompts, but it really was a challenge for me as well. These were the prompts I assigned myself:
January Prompts - Everyday Images #1

weather (quarterly) - Most of our days have been either clear blue skies or completely overcast. This was one of those few days that featured a blue sky and clouds. We've had a bit of snow and some rain.
yard (quarterly) - I don't have a yard of my own, really, so I'm calling this pond in the center of our neighborhood my "yard" and will be interested to see it change with the seasons.
building - a trip to the IKEA building means we're building some furniture at home!
pieces - puzzle my husband received as a Christmas gift
design - a tulip quilt black design that was appropriate for Christmas with its red and green, but I think it's also good for Valentine's Day.
beautiful - I thought this frozen puddle took on a cold beauty with the leaves underneath showing through and the reflection of the trees above.
And a few bonus photos:
Our sweet granddaughter is 100 Days Smarter after her first one hundred days of kindergarten!
I am sharing my photos every other Tuesday, along with my prompts for the next two weeks. You can use all or some of the prompts for your own photo posts, or none of the prompts and just link up a post featuring your photos. Simple rules: Your posts must be family-friendly; the photos must be your own; and the post must be mostly photos. If you do share I'd appreciate a mention and link to A Fresh Cup of Coffee on your post.

Such beautiful photos. So love the pond shot. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteOh, that is going to be so fun to watch that pond change through all the seasons!
ReplyDeleteReally like the pond with the images on the water/ice. Such an adorable added photo. Congrats to her.
