Welcome to another installment of my challenge and reminder to myself to take photos somewhat regularly. I'm not a photographer, but I enjoy taking everyday photos of things I find interesting or want to remember later, and I find that I notice interesting things when I'm intentionally watching for them. Having some prompts that are open to interpretation has helped me pay a little more attention to what's around me. Every two weeks I have a few words and phrases that I'm focusing on, and I try to find opportunities to take pictures of these things each week.

current season (quarterly)
together - a classic family dinner photo. Classic for our family anyway! I'm no good at doing a selfie that includes a whole group, so maybe I'll get my daughter to give me a tutorial at Christmas.
lights - did you ever lie under the Christmas tree when you were a kid, just to look up at the lights? Well, I briefly was lying under the tree when I started decorating it, but it was because I needed to fix the tree skirt. Thought I'd better get the photo while I was down there.
silver
vintage - we had milk delivery when I was growing up (and again the first few years after I got married!), but I don't think it was delivered in glass bottles.
And a few bonus photos:
We visited the Ohio Glass Museum in Lancaster again. Some of the exhibits were different, and when we looked at the ones that were the sme, we paid attention to different details.
I think the glass paperweights are so neat. I wish I had one, though I certainly don't need even one more thing on my desk!
I was really tempted by this clever tray in the gift shop.
I settled for just a glass flower.
We walked around in town a bit, went for dinner, and shopped at the antique mall.
One of our Maryland sons came out to spend Thanksgiving with us. I think I did a good job of providing a variety of desserts this year!
On Black Friday evening we went to see the lights at the riverwalk park in Gahanna before getting takeout for dinner.
Got the tree up and decorated after Thanksgiving.
It wasn't the first snow of the season, but we did get the first winter weather advisory. It was a very chilly and snowy start to the first day of December!
I am sharing my photos every other Thursday, along with my prompts for the next two weeks. You can use all or some of the prompts for your own photo posts, or none of the prompts and just link up a post featuring your photos. Simple rules: Your posts must be family-friendly; the photos must be your own; and the post must be mostly photos. If you do share I'd appreciate a mention and link to A Fresh Cup of Coffee on your post.
Everyday Images will continue in 2025, every other Thursday, and the link-up is open for two weeks. I'm planning to continue in 2026, and I hope you'll continue to join me!

Lots of great photos of great times posted here, Kym. The glass museum looks so interesting. I like the lights with reflections along the river walk. You know I've never thought of taking a photo looking up at our Christmas tree. I might do that this year once it is decorated but I'll probably need help getting up again. :) Your tree looks beautiful. Milk bottles are vintage. Our DIL has been buying raw milk these days and it comes in glass bottles. Have a great day.
