Welcome to another installment of my challenge and reminder to myself to take photos somewhat regularly. I'm not a photographer, but I enjoy taking everyday photos of things I find interesting or want to remember later, and I find that I notice interesting things when I'm intentionally watching for them. Having some prompts that are open to interpretation has helped me pay a little more attention to what's around me. Every two weeks I have a few words and phrases that I'm focusing on, and I try to find opportunities to take pictures of these things each week.

And a few bonus photos:
Our Canada Day celebration was pretty much limited to having HP Sauce for our steaks, and drinking our evening coffee out of Canada mugs. Maybe we'll do something bigger next year.
From the Granville fireworks last night:
I am sharing my photos every other Thursday, along with my prompts for the next two weeks. You can use all or some of the prompts for your own photo posts, or none of the prompts and just link up a post featuring your photos. Simple rules: Your posts must be family-friendly; the photos must be your own; and the post must be mostly photos. If you do share I'd appreciate a mention and link to A Fresh Cup of Coffee on your post.
Everyday Images will continue in 2025, every other Thursday, and the link-up is open for two weeks.

Beautiful photos! I love those fireworks.
ReplyDeleteThank you - I was surprised at how well those couple of photos turned out. Believe me, the rest of the photos I took that night were NOT quality at all. LOL Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
DeleteGreat photos of the fireworks!! I love fireworks. What flavor is your frozen custard? It looks like a mix of flavors.
ReplyDeleteI love fireworks too. The custard is called Rose Run something, it's a local menu mix - with raspberry and macadamia nuts and hot fudge. Really good. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
DeleteI have the same garden flag! I love it! Your firework pics are so good. I got some great ones last year and I know it was because I was so close to them- my neighbors were setting them off and the ones that I took before it was completely dark out turned out really good. Thanks for the link up and have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love that with digital photography, we can take dozens of photos and then just keep the small percentage that turn out - that's the only way I ever get any good fireworks photos! On the 4th the neighbors down the road from our place in MD did a pretty impressive fireworks show and I think I might have netted one or two decent photos of that as well.
DeleteThanks for stopping by and commenting, and especially for linking up! I hope you'll join in again!
Oh, Kym, I haven't even started on my June photos and we are racing through July. Need to get with it. I don't know where the hours go everyday.
ReplyDeleteI like your patriotic garden flag. There is a company that will take children's art and create all kinds of things with it. One of the things they make are garden flags. So I have 2 granddaughters' art work on flags around our pool. But I keep moving them trying to find the best spot.
Adorable bandana placemats. I like chaing our placemats up. Those are perfect for summer.
