On the 10th of each month, Marsha In the Middle asks ten questions for us to answer in as much or little detail as we wish. Looks like I can get away with very little detail this time, because the prompt is simply to show ten photos of things I'm especially fond of. I know myself well enough to predict before I even start that I will not limit myself to photos alone but will include some words.
One other thing before I dive in . . . the prompt does say "things" and so I will not include people in my list, since they are not things. I guess people might appear in my chosen photos though.
Coffee - always near the top of the list
Music - singing, playing, listening, almost all kinds of music
Books - I love to read and like having actual books. I love a good bookstore. I just wish I could spend a couple hours a day reading instead of just a few minutes at a time.
Games - Whenever the family gets together, we enjoy Scrabble and Dominoes and Jackbox and all kinds of games.
Bread - I love me some carbs, especially homemade bread!
Desserts - speaking of carbs, I love desserts too, all kinds.
Barbecue - before I move on from the food section of my list!
Vacations - It was hard to find just one photo that would represent vacations, but the best ones in my mind involve doing fun things with family so I grabbed these two.
History - this is really a really broad category. I am very interested in history and I like to visit historical sites and museums when on vacation.
Birdwatching - I'm very much an amateur, but I always keep an eye and ear out for birds to identify when on any kind of nature walk, and like having bird feeders where I can watch the birds that visit them.
What photographs would you choose to represent the things you love? Leave a comment and let me know!

Great choices!
ReplyDeleteI love your tartan mug and that you play games, it's something I miss, but I don't have anyone who still wants to play with me. It seems everyone in my circles has moved on from games.

It's not always easy to find time and willing participants to play games. For me, it usually happens with family get-togethers when there's a larger pool of people to draw from! Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
DeleteCompletely get the dessert one! Lol. Me too! And we love games as well!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't narrow down to just one kind of dessert! LOL Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
DeleteI love what you chose to show here!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Glad you stopped by!
DeleteYour photos are awesome. I wish our family loved games. My husband has never liked to play games so it is a rare day when I get to play one! He will play our version of dominoes (made up rules).
ReplyDeleteMy husband doesn't care for games either - I play most games with some combination of the kids when we're together. Thanks for stopping by and cmmenting!
DeleteOther than coffee I love everything on this list too. Vacations is such a hard one to take a single photo of to conceptualize but I told my husband I could easily have had all 10 photos be from vacation!
ReplyDeleteYes, same here! And even then it would have been hard to choose just ten photos! Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
DeleteI agree with Joanne. I don't like coffee (but I love the smell). I guess I need to be more careful with my words. I didn't even think of people as things and yet there it is! Thanks for playing along this month!
ReplyDeleteI thought about having "family" as one of my ten things which would have solved the problem, but being with family is what made some of my other things - like games and vacations - my favorites. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
