Scripture and a Snapshot - Fathers

"He will go forth before the Lord, equipped with the spirit and power of Elijah. He will turn the hearts of fathers back to their children, and he will turn the disobedient to righteous patterns of thinking. He will make ready a people prepared for the Lord."

~Luke 1:17~

This was part of a prophecy spoken about John the Baptist and his role in preparing Israel for the coming of the Messiah. But oh, how we need this prophetic work to be done in this day! Oh Lord, raise up godly men and women who will protect children and families from evil, and will show us how to stand for truth and righteousness. May those who are disobedient learn the truth and repent. Let's all prepare our hearts and set ourselves apart for the Lord.

Happy Father's Day!
