Everyday Images #11

Welcome to another installment of my challenge and reminder to myself to take photos somewhat regularly. I went through past photo challenges and came up with a list of prompts at the beginning of the year and am trying to find opportunities to take pictures of these things each week. These were the prompts I assigned myself for the past couple weeks:

workspace (quarterly) - Hmm. Not much has changed here.

sign - We thought it was fun that they'd placed a mirror image sign so it would be readable in the reflection.

rock -

one -

house (quarterly) - by the way, I did put up bird feeders outside the window as I'd planned when I shared the first quarterly photo, and they are being visited regularly by feathered friends. But I don't have any plants or flowers over there so it still didn't look that interesting.

branched -

And a few bonus photos:

Last weekend our daughter and her boyfriend were here for a visit. One highlight was our visit to The Book Loft in the German Village.

We also spent an afternoon exploring Blendon Woods Metro Park.

Isn't it frustrating when you have a really great word to play in Scrabble, and no place where it will fit? Ugh.

Our daughter-in-law shared this photo of Aubrey 'reading' the book that Veronica made for her. So cute!

This past weekend hubby and I explored Charleston Falls Nature Preserve near Dayton.

We spent Sunday evening going out to dinner with our son and his family, and then walking around this community. Enjoyed the murals and water park, and even a public piano.

I am sharing my photos every other Tuesday, along with my prompts for the next two weeks. You can use all or some of the prompts for your own photo posts, or none of the prompts and just link up a post featuring your photos. Simple rules: Your posts must be family-friendly; the photos must be your own; and the post must be mostly photos. If you do share I'd appreciate a mention and link to A Fresh Cup of Coffee on your post.

  3. The book loft is amazing for book lovers. When my daughter lived down that way, she took me there. I'm not sure I've ever seen so many books. Also, the area was so fun to see also. It was Christmas time when we went and their were all kinds of booths people had set up in the neighborhood to purchase things. Very interesting place.

    1. We used to visit The Book Loft during the Christmas season because that was when we visited our son in Columbus. Now that we live here, I'd go every week if I could. I have to limit myself! ;-) Thanks for stopping by and commenting - and linking up!
