Scripture and a Snapshot - Perseverance

This post may contain affiliate links - using affiliate links from A Fresh Cup of Coffee helps continue the coffee breaks and conversation.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to tall without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

~James 1:2-5~

  1. I still struggle with considering trials joy. But I am thankful that God uses them for our growth.

    1. It's so hard when you're in the middle of a trial to consider it joy. At least my experience is that the real joy is on the other side, after the hard work of perseverance.
