I was on the road most of Sunday so I didn't get a post ready to share on the theme of animals in the wild. We stayed at an Airbnb just off the main street of Lewiston, NY last week, and visited some touristy parts of Niagara Falls, and even while walking the trails a little ways from the city, we didn't encounter much wildlife. Not much that stuck around for more than a second or two in order to be photographed anyway. But we had chipmunks, squirrels, and rabbits that hung around the house and showed up in parks and populated areas, reminding us that wild animals are pretty adaptable and are often closer than we think.
But this is the Flower Hour, so I chose a couple photos from my archives that feature insects and flowers.

How fun to visit New York and check out Niagara Falls, Kym! Another fun way to celebrate June's Great Outdoors month! I love your flower images complete with bees! Your compositions are wonderful! Nicely done, and you have moved out of rank amateur status!
