Each month we're each invited to share things in these categories: Some Things I Loved, Some Things I Learned, Some Things That Went Well, and Some Thing I Let Go Of. I usually like to include a little bit of a bonus: Some Things I Read and a little of What's Coming Up Soon.
Some Things I Loved:
We went to a couple of hockey games, and were sitting in the Club section for one of them, thanks to a friend inviting us to join him!

And today I got the Christmas tree decorated!

Some Things I Learned:
Well, there's only one day left for this sale, but I'll share it anyway. The Plan To Eat website and app has become a favorite tool for me to keep track of my recipes and it even creates a shopping list for me based on my meal plan. Right now, through December 1st, the subscriptions to Plan To Eat are 50% off so if you've been thinking about getting it, or need to renew your subscription, now is the time! Or gift it to someone at that price, which is what I did!

Some Things That Went Well:
Thanksgiving weekend went really well, and it was so good to have my two oldest boys here. Of course I wish we could have had the whole family together, but that does get harder as the years go by. So far so good with Christmas decorating and holiday plans too!
My husband had another couple of moles removed and biopsied, and they are benign so that was good news!
Some Things I Let Go Of:
My tendency to overthink. I'm working on this, and it's sometimes a contributor to my procrastination. It's good to think things through and try to do good and thorough work, but sometimes I just need to get going on stuff instead of obsessing over details that just cause it to take too long. Like decorating the tree . . . we got it out and set up yesterday evening and today I decorated. I made myself just put on the ornaments in the order I pulled them out of the box instead of getting everything out and grouping it and planning which ones went where . . . I have a pretty good idea where I want them so I just got it done with a little help from hubby. Blog posts like this are another thing I don't need to overthink. Just answer the prompts, add a few photos, not everything needs to be profound. haha

Some Things I Read:
Finished and reviewed these since my last SFS:
While the City Sleeps - Elizabeth Camden
Here are the books I'm currently reading:
Monet For Nothing by PJ Fitzsimmons
No Two Persons by Erica Bauermeister
A Certain Darkness by Anna Lee Huber
What's Coming Up Soon?
The chorus has a couple of holiday music performances this week and next, and then our holiday party. I really need to get a move on with Christmas shopping! (Speaking of not overthinking things!) And decide if I'll send Christmas cards this year. Probably I will do a few for the friends and family far away that I don't get together with. And before we know it, Christmas will be here!
Share something in the comments, or share four somethings with the rest of us in the link party!
