We wait in hope for the LORD;
he is our help and our shield.

ReplyDeleteI have been reading Dare to Lead by Brenee Brown and just read a section on C.R. Snyder's thoughts on hope. He defines hope as a cognitive emotional process that has 3 parts, a goal, a pathway, and a belief or agency. After reading this verse I can't help but remember how I love how often scripture is verbs. Hope is a verb and while we wait we walk toward the Lord.
