On the 10th of each month, Marsha In the Middle asks ten questions for us to answer in as much or little detail as we wish. I've missed the 10 on the 10th link-up for the past couple of months, but I think I have time to jump in with these fun "would you rather" questions:
1. Would you rather live in a tiny house in the country or on a boat on a river or lake?
I would much rather live in a tiny house in the country. I think living on a boat would cause me a bit too much stress. Having a houseboat available for short term would be lovely, but for a full time residence, I'd prefer to be on land.
2. Would you rather be a character in a Shakespeare play or a Stephen King movie adaptation?
Oh, Shakespeare play, no question! I like Shakespeare, but I don't like Stephen King's novels or movies at all. Horror is a big ol' nope from me.
3. Would you rather your kitchen was full of all black appliances or all pink appliances?
I'd prefer the black appliances. It would be darker than I like, but at least I could add the color I like in the rest of the kitchen. Pink is too limiting, and I don't think of it as a kitcheny color.
4. Would you rather be allergic to cake or chips?
I guess chips. I don't eat cake or chips often, but I think I'd like to be continue to indulge in cake at celebrations or at a restaurant; and I think I could manage the occasional salty snack craving with something other than chips. I say that now, even though I have a bagful of interesting flavored potato chips I brought back from Canada to 'taste test' with family, probably today.
5. Would you rather have a five minute conversation with your past self or your future self?
Probably my past self, so I could refresh my memory of a past event or maybe offer a word of advice on perspective to myself.
6. Would you rather be rich or famous?
I'd much rather be rich! Easy answer! I don't think it's very desirable to be famous, seems like it would be intrusive and stressful in a lot of ways.
7. Would you rather drive a brand new big, big truck or a slightly used small car?
How small is the car? I'm pretty sure the small car would be better for me. I like driving an SUV or pickup truck but anything bigger than a standard pickup would probably be too big for me to feel comfortable driving. Whether it's brand new or used doesn't make much difference.
8. Would you rather live with your parents or your kids?
I actually miss living with my kids, and would be happy to share a house with them again. Assuming the house is big enough for all of us, of course! It's been way too many years since I've lived with my parents so that would be the bigger adjustment for me.
9. Would you rather have an ugly tattoo where everyone could see it or a beautiful one that no one could see?
I'll take the beautiful tattoo even if I'm the only one that sees it. Ugly tattoos are no good.
10. Would you rather eat a peanut butter and spam sandwich or a strawberry jelly and lettuce sandwich?
Is it weird that this seems like the hardest choice of all these questions? I'm not a huge fan of spam, but it's okay. I do like peanut butter and bacon on toast so would a PB&Spam be close enough to that? I guess this isn't an everyday lunch, so I'll choose the strawberry jelly and lettuce combo and convince myself that it's healthy.

I need to jump back on the 10 on the 10th bandwagon. I always enjoyed answering the questions. I think I would have to eat the lettuce and strawberry jelly over the other!! Neither sounds appetizing.
ReplyDeleteIt's such a fun light-hearted link-up! Sometimes I just can't make time for it, but I'm always glad when I do. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
DeleteI linked up as well. Looks as if we got some things in common!
ReplyDeleteI'll be visiting soon to see how you and others answered compared to me. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
DeleteI liked your reasoning for the strawberry jelly and lettuce sandwich, but I was sure you were going to go for the PB and Spam after saying you liked PB and bacon! I should have maybe made the appliance question open to other colors than pink. I'm not even a big fan of pink! Thanks for playing along, Kym!

The strange sandwich combo was a really tough choice to make and I'm so very glad I don't have to make that one in real life! LOL Thanks for the fun questions and for stopping by to comment!
