Welcome to my ongoing challenge and reminder to myself to take photos somewhat regularly. I'm not a photographer, but I enjoy taking everyday photos of things I find interesting or want to remember later, and I'm more likely to notice interesting things when I'm intentionally watching for them. Having some prompts that are open to interpretation has helped me pay a little more attention to what's around me. Here's how it works: Every two weeks I have a few words and phrases to focus on, and I try to find opportunities to take pictures of these things each week. The link-up post will be here every other Thursday, sharing my photos and offering a link-up for participants to share theirs. Right below the link-up is where you'll find the next set of prompts.

gradual - it's started already . . . a few leaves have gradually begun to change color . . .
on the road
imperfect - I thought I could keep my SVC Duck in my car, but it got a little too warm and the decoration glued to his chest kinda slid down. I guess a little imperfection makes him represent me a little better! LOL

tangled - that's me sorting out my in-ears every Sunday
selfie (quarterly) - I was trying to get a photo of my earring but it was harder than I expected to get a good angle
restful
And a few bonus photos:
Here's Duckie before the temperature soared.
On the first weekend in August, we went up to Huron for the day. We spent a bit of time at the lakeshore, walked out the pier towards the lighthouse, and enjoyed a Lake Erie perch dinner. All to celebrate our anniversary!
Sadly, I didn't take many photos the rest of the time. See, that's why I need this challenge!
I am sharing my photos every other Thursday, along with my prompts for the next two weeks. You can use all or some of the prompts for your own photo posts, or none of the prompts and just link up a post featuring your photos. Simple rules: Your posts must be family-friendly; the photos must be your own; and the post must be mostly photos. If you do share I'd appreciate a mention and link to A Fresh Cup of Coffee on your post.
The Everyday Images link-up is posted every other Thursday, and is open for two weeks.

Your dessert looks good!
ReplyDeleteit's a box mix but it sure made for a nice sweet treat! Thanks for stopping by and commenting, and for linking up!
DeleteYour photos are lovely. I can't help but wonder what happens to all those ducks that all those jeep people have lined all along their dashboard. I would never have thought you'd have to worry about melting!
ReplyDeleteThe gear decoration on my Duck is an "aftermarket" addition otherwise I'm sure melting wouldn't have been an issue! haha I wonder about the Jeep ducks too - one of my sons has a collection of ducks on his dashboard and I'm surprised they don't roll and bounce all over the place.

I love your interpretation of gradual! I'm seeing signs of Autum too.
ReplyDeleteThank you - I think the colors are beautiful, but it's still too early! Glad you stopped by and commented today
DeleteA great assortment of pictures. Love the lake photos! The earrings are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThank you - it wasn't the greatest day for the lakeshore because it was threatening rain the whole time, but it did make for interesting views across the water. Thanks for stopping by and commenting, and for linking up!
DeleteGreat pics! The barn is my favorite. I love barns. I shared a pre-Autumn branch turning too, but we're in the upper 90's all week so still a ways to go before it feels like fall here. I added my link today. Thanks for hosting. I love finding things as I go about my week that might work for the prompts.
ReplyDeleteI think I may have passed that barn on one of our visits to Ohio. Or maybe there is more than one with that bicentennial image. Also love the cobble stone-ish path with the lights and trees. Interesting angle for your selfie. It works really well and your complexion is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time to visit your blog (via Joyce at From This Side of the Pond). This is delightful! I may join in with my own pictures from time to time.
